 The Wilde Drive is designed to bring an edgier sound to harmonica. Mixing vintage and current design techniques and components, the pedal takes an aggressive solid state overdriven signal and slams a subminiature pentode tube, resulting in a hard distortion saturated with harmonics that sound great for the harmonica. The 'fat' switch adds a short delay to fatten the tone and liven up the sound (I like to leave this on all the time). This is now the only pedal I use in my signal chain between my mic and amp, for me it's the perfect pedal for both Blues and Rock and it enables me to get the "Will Wilde" sound from almost any amp.
